The inaugural SIGMA meeting was held on January 10-11, 2026 in Hong Kong, SAR. The Summit for Innovation in Glaucoma Management in Asia is dedicated to be a catalyst for transformative ideas in glaucoma management. The summit encourages collaboration, showcase groundbreaking research, and promote the adoption of innovative technologies for the betterment of patient care.

Professor Leung is a clinician-scientist with research focus in glaucoma detection and diagnostic imaging of the optic nerve. He has led major work on early glaucoma diagnosis and novel imaging technologies, and is active in developing treatments for neuroprotection.

Shan Lin

Shan Lin, MD

San Francisco, CA, USA

Dr. Lin is Co-Director of Research at the Glaucoma Center of San Francisco, and former Director of the Glaucoma Service at UCSF. He has published over 250 peer-reviewed papers and held leadership roles in several major ophthalmology societies.
